The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Committee on Doctrine recently wrote and distributed a document to their bishops, priests, and music ministers entitled “Catholic Hymnody At the Service of the Church: An Aid for Evaluating Hymn Lyrics”. While the document was referenced in a recent article by catholicnewsagency.com, it was not made publicly available by them or by the USCCB in any way that we could find.
